I think that generalizatiuon breaks down somewhat. I mean, Chevy Suburban, a girl? Ford Excursion? BMW M5? Schwarzenegger driving the Hummer?

Before, when most supercars were of Italian make, like Ferraris, Maseratis, and Lamborghinis, they were girls because they were beeeeaaautiful!
The fact that they were badass fast and agile just made them that much more appealing

My car's named Traci. (for Traci Lords) Cheap for how fast she is. Young with high mileage. Fits alot of people and is roomy on the inside. Plus it's illegal to do the things I do with Traci.

The above quote is my favourite reason for our cars to be girls.

In any case, I personally think all cars are girls because French is my mother-tongue and in French, the word car is feminine.

I named my last car (a '92 Toyota Camry)) Cordelia, but I've been hesitant to name my new baby girl.

I almost got into an accident one day with the max and I suddenly found myself stroking the dash and softly saying..."sorry about that
girl...won't happen again.....you forgive me right?"

She forgave me and we raced off together into the sunset.....
