I hate when that happens

A Corvette being tested at a track, goes out of control and hits this dude. It's not extremely gruesome, but it's disturbing because you can hear the dude's head hit the windshield.

Yeah it's the driver but your statement doesn't make alot of sense. Auto-x is all about using the smallest/lightest car. 914s, Miatas, Lotus Elans, CRXs, 510s all do well. Big cars like Mustangs, Camaros, etc.. have a harder time, especially if the course is tight.

Yoy can see a stock Miata w/ gumwalls post the same times as a much more modded newer Vette or other larger car.

some depends on the type of course, typical auto x is very tight, but when they use race courses like ButtonWillow or Laguna Seca then bigger more powerful cars have the opportunity to do really well... and this was a lambo just creeping around the whole course... thats what was funny.

Yeah that I can understand. But are road course days really auto-x??

I understood auto-x as most really tight corners. Places like Laguna Seca would be another animal?

yea I guess the term auto-x gets thrown around loosely, but I'm pretty sure thats what they market the road courses as when they open up for the general public...

Damn that's nasty...

It makes you curious about the driver's background and exactly what happened. Some cars are too fast, and some drivers are too inexperienced.
