Lug nut stud replacement

2003 Nissan Maxima.

Have one lug nut stud stripped on both front wheels. Is it necessary to remove the rotor in order to remove/replace these studs. Any advice or tricks on doing this is appreciated.

Remove the whole caliper with the brake pads, the rotor will come off and you can change those studs. I broke a few of those on my old maxima. Very easy job. If you can change your brakes yourself you can do this too.

A BFH helps to get the old stud out.
