Sold the max :(
Bye bye maxi :(
I sold my 2000 se maxima after 2 years of owning it, it was my first car and I'll never forget it, I wish I never sold it just because I put so much work into it months b4 I sold it. If the tranny wasn't made of glass I prob would still have it.
I always wanted a rwd turbo car and I ending up buy a 2013 Hyundai genises coupe 2.0t with 274hp. I've had the coupe for 3 months now and I like it but I still miss the sick sound of the vq motor. My maxima now is supercharged and every time I hear it or see it pass by I get a tear knowing that beast use to be mine.

The old and new together

Bro.. wtf... took you this long to post this?? Lol. the genesis is nice though...one of these days maybe ill suck it up and head to the pike and meet all of you.... you should bring the genesis to ready set drift on the 7th... big drifting event..lotta lock city drift peeps gonna be there i imagine...
Thanks guys, yea I posted this like 3 months after I sold the car but I've been to lazy to post lol and I kept forgetting. I'm going to the drift event the 7th I wish I could enter but I need another set of rims of I'm going to be out there drifting. I already need to change the tiers on my rear just because I go sideways to much.
Thank you, most people on here don't know me, I was the type of person that would read allot of the threads but not post. It su ks moving from a car u knew sooo much about to a car u need to relearn and to a company u thaught u where ever going to mess with. But at the age of 20 I think I can't really get any better with the choose I made, with the warrenty they pervide it can help me out in the long run, I'll still be modding my gen just can't let the dealer know
nice max, and i do agree that VQ's sound sick and boosted VQ's sound even more sick.
genesis's are nice, but the hyundai quality i what keeps me on the fence on either liking or disliking that car. but the genesis does look nice, keep us posted on any progess.

I'll keep you guys posted I have many plans for it, I want to get a nice stance with it. The quility isn't the greatest but isn't the worst. The whole shift **** is cheap, it vibrates and makes a annoying noise at high rpm's the shift boot becomes separated from the shift ****. The clutch and flywheel are very loud, the paint has orange peal. The stock bov can't handle the stock 20 pounds of boost if u get a aftermarket intake. But the car is a blast to drive, it turns heads and for the time I've had it I've gotten more compliments about it more then my max has ever gotten for the 2 years I owned it. And there isn't any better feel then boost kicking in. I've even went against 2 turbo 5.5 gens one was auto and the other 6speed, but both untuned.
