Always wanted one. Finally installed a direct air drive truck horn. Anyone else have one? Mainly i did it to scare the **** out of people.

 

This guy wants a train horn in the maxima

 

Make sure it's legal to do so, in your area. My old roommate's dad wanted to install one on his wife's car, but wasn't able to b/c of local laws. He ended up wiring a bunch of horns together, instead, to make it louder.

 

I do want train horns....

I've been using Hella horns for a good 5 years now. About 115 db IIRC.

 

THese country folk don't understand the benefits of a loud *** horn in the city. "oh you want to get over in that 6ft gap I left between the car in front of me and myself?" "well take that!!"

I always hated the stock horn in my GrandAm..way too soft, sounding. Wife's Outback is more shrill, and the max is louder, but still a bit on the shrill side imo

 

Dont think I will be gettting one, sure cops out here will be all over that....

I wanna wire in a sissy-sounding horn on a friend's car, for the lulz. Maybe on a friend with a jacked-up truck or something, lol

 

Just gotta get to the front of the engine bay with them being none-the-wiser
