Yeah I know this. One big reason I don't buy brand new cars anyway.

one thing about resale value. a car is never a investment!!!!!!
it is just a bottomless money pit. especially for use the people that mod our cars. really the only people that would hold value in mods is us. so if you buy a car and constantly worry about resale value your just going to drive yourself crazy.

I say buy the car you like try to get the best possible deal you can on it and enjoy the car. when its time for a change then change it.
But you are always losing money somewhere a lot of money.

i paid about 22K + fees for my 99 SE-L back in 1999.
that car is staying with me until i die
Irvine Nissan $7000 of including rebate.

When my dad was buying his dodge ram there was a dealership with a price of onl ylike 17 grand, but they forgot to mention you had to be in the navy, be a farmer and other things to get that deal. Otherwise it was liek 25 grand haha...

Not really. I went 2 weeks ago to a dealer and they said there were 2 cars available and I had to pick it up within 2 days. If I'm gonna buy an SE I don't want it to have zero options, as do most people in the market for a Maxima. What varies though is whether you're forced to finance at a high rate or take their add-ons like rustproof, wheel arches, etc. In this case the answer was no, but another inconvenience was the cars were not physically on the dealer's premises, so I would have to place the order based on the VIN# and they'd bring the car around from the warehouse.0. You guys don't seem to realize you can't just advertise something that doesn't exist. They have to show that an actual car was available at that price. Maybe only 2 but the ad brings in 100 lookers.

,sure that's what it is. I will say it again, I am happy with the deal/eperience I got and would gladly do it again. I am however a little ****ed about the $1000 cash back promotion.

If someone could actually get that price, then more power to them! I just don't beleive any of those ads. One thing I have learned in life is if something seems to good to be true, 99% of the time it is to good to be true.{100% for me}
same here, i'm happy with the deal dan ziegler gave me esp since it was one of the first 6-spd on the east coast. called him up and he got it, no hassles no haggles. took a nice drive down to see him and got it home, but ya the 1000 dollar cash back did **** me off a little too but oh well. you have to think of when me and ewok bought ours too, right when they came out and if you were good you could get it for a couple hundred over invoice with no cashback. i like my car and my salesman but nissan service well

Sometimes, the dealers will try to sell you some useless packages, such as paint protection, window eching (way overpriced), etc. That is what happened when my dad and I went to buy a 2000 maxima. Insead, we passed up all of that bs, went 2k1 instead.

Yes they may sell one car for that price this is called BAIT AND SWITCH, but I would go to that dealership and say I want this car at this price heres my social, lets do the paperwork. If they dont have it, walk out and tell them to quit posting false advertisement.
