just put in a new battery (having issues)

I need help.. I just put in a new battery in, my 2007 nissan maxima se! and for some reason my sun roof won't close now. and my gas gauge needle, is messed up! can anyone give any advice or answers? lol

Try disconnecting the negative terminal for about 30 minutes.

Also, check fuses. And what do you mean by "needle is messed up?"
