ok heres the scoop ...
When i hit the trunk release on my Remote, the release in the trunk makes the noise but the trunk itself wont open...

when i do it manually the trunk opens up fine.

i have a sneaking suspicion *sp?* that the hydralic lifter may be goin out but im not sure .... anyone ?

On the trunk latch inside the trunk there is a switch
that moves up & down that keeps the remote release in
the door or on the remote from working, it is called
a vallet switch. Try moving it.

There is a tird key that came with the car when new
is a vallet key and will not open the trunk or glove
box.
