So today while I'm at work I passed a Nissan stealership today and noticed they had the 2013 Maxima and 370Z parked side by side on the lawn for motorist to see. I looked at the rims then looked closely and noticed the rims were almost identical in design.

I swear these guys sit in a room and play poker and when they see the boss they scrible up something real quic, just stightly change the design. What do you all think...

Maybe it's because we all end up putting 350Z rims on the Maxima anyway. They're just saving us some money!

You're right. Nobody keeps the maxima rims on anymore. It's either the infiniti's or the Z's. They need to make something that says maxima

They would be smart just to put steelies on them. Knowing most people buy rims that look like steelies anyway and they are cheap. Not to mention then people can get those pimp-a$$ hubcap spinners they have at wallymart.

They are and they have looked similiar since the 5th gen, look at 5.5 SE, 6th gen SE rims vs 03-05 350 with Sport Package Rims. There were a couple yrs in between that they looked different although. Even the 87/88 Max had similiar rims to the 87-89 300ZX's.
