I previously owned a 97 SE and dumped it when the lease expired in 2000 because I didn't care for the 2K Max's look or power increase (not too significant). However, I've kept my eye on the MAx and now feel that the 2K2 is more appealing visually and I LOVE the power increase. My questions are:
1) Want a LOADED SE 6-sp, what would be a good price to look for??
2) Are the sales of the Altima REALLY hurting the Max that bad??
3) Would it be a better gamble to wait a few months to have more power in my bargaining corner since @K@ sales would be down??
4) Anyone heard of any significant info on the 2K3??When is the 6th Gen coming out??
5)Is the Max truly the best car out there for under $30K loaded??(I think so)

All replies and input greatly appreciated?? In the Chicago area, any good dealerships over here??

If you can get a good deal on a 2K2 ( or a price you're happy with ), go for it...

Can't tell you what's going to happen in the future to the Maxima( wish I knew ), sorry ...

 

well the maxima is rumored to be made bigger similar to the infinite Q class. but for now it is just speculation. its not that altima is hurting maxima sales. maximas are still selling. the Altimas if anything is taking customers away from honda and toyota because its just so much more car for the money.
