Quick exhaust question

This is my current exhaust setup: (which current is in my basement)

- Stillen y-pipe
- Straight pipe
- Stillen b-bibe
- Stock 2001 Maxima SE muffler

How much horsepower would it free up if I were to replace the 2001 Maxima SE muffler with a performance muffler (Stillen, HKS, Greddy, etc...)? The reason I got the 2001 Maxima SE muffler was because I wanted something quiet and non offensive (like some 4.5" tips). I was under the impression that mufflers only added ~3 HP since the major restrictions are in the y-pipe + b-pipe, not in the muffler. Feedback please.

Mufflers gain little 2-4 hp. You are correct the y frees up the most HP. Your stock is the best. Keeps some backpressure but also breathes well.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Is any of you running a y-pipe + Stillen b-pipe + performance muffler? The reason I'm specifying a Stillen b-pipe is because they don't have a resonator, and was curious how much "drone" there is?
