WOT with pedal covers

When you floor the gas with pedal covers, would it not goes as far down as compared to with the stock pedal because of the clips? Do the clips stop the pedal from going as far as it could go? (I hope that mad sense)

EDIT: I am going to the track tomorrow and I was wondering if I should take the pedals off.

i had this problem with my sentra... the pedals used screws that stuck out past the pedals, and the instructions told me to cut them, but i was like oh whatever. after a while i noticed that the screws sticking out just a tiny bit were making marks on the carpeting behind the pedal, so i cut them. the difference was there, and i hadnt even noticed it before. so the answer is yes, it can affect WOT

I think you should.

Get some AE pedals and you won't have to worry about it.

Its true...

They all reduce the amount you press down the pedal. Solution: Ditch the pedals.

Never thought of that, I never seen racing petals that had bolts sticking out the back, my brothers just slide on with no problems.

I have no problems with my pedals. I checked and they dont interfere with anything. I have the Razo carbon fi/allum. look-alikes.
I think it was BrianV that had problems with his pedals getting in the way

You can either cut them or align them so that they just miss the stop. I pushed mine a little further down the pedal so that all the bolts miss the stop.

It hasn't affected my WOT and I've had my pedals on for at least 9 months.
