any one every done this to lower your maxima....clamps from autozone..

OMG I feel like a complete idiot now for just spending some cash on a full set of brand new maxspeed springs... For less than $10 I could have done the same thing... and you know you can actually cut the rear springs to even save more...

I was wondering if I should do this...right now I have H&R in the front and Eibach on the rear but it seems like my front still sits a bit higher...what do u guys think...

It seems to be a more reversible way of lowering your car on a budget. Better than cutting the springs or torching them. But its still in the "uhhhh" category.

But what would be concerning is if some day the clamps snap or if the bolts to release them get rusted in place and you cannot get the clamps off, or while trying to get the seized clamp off, they snap and shoots metal at you.

As stated, clamps are not the correct and safest way to lower a car.
