What voids your warranty?

I am just curious as to how a warranty can be voided.

If I change my oil myself will I no longer have my warranty?
If I do 15k service myself will I no longer have my warranty?
30K service?

I want to do everything myself and still keep my warranty, is this possible?

yes this is totally possible, as long as you maintain your car no matter who does it... if something breaks and they find the engine wasnt properly cared for thats when you might have problems, as long as you take good care of it the warranty will not be affected

nothing "voids" your warranty. however if you change transmission parts to non-stock parts, your transmission warranty may be voided. Unless they can show that the modification CAUSED THE PROBLEM FOR WHICH YOU ARE SEEKING WARRANTY coverage, your warranty remains in effect.

I added it to the existing sticky the moment I saw your post in the Feedback forum.

i believe under some act that if a part breaks or needs replacement and the dealer doesnt GIVE it to you,you may replace it with an aftermarket part and keep the warranty
