Hey guys,

Just wondering if you know of review sites for winter tires ... what do u have on your Max & what size? I'm trying 2 figure out what 2 put on my Y2K 225/50/17 ... should I go with 195/65/15 (I think that's a common size) ... or should I go with a 16"?

If you are seriously concerned about traction, get 15's, as skinny as you can. However, it's been snowing here for 3 or 4 days, and my 234/45-17 SP5000's are getting me around with ease.

Going with either 205-65/15 or 215-60/15 rather then 195-65/15 will preserve the speedometer accuacy more closely.
195-65/15 is a bit too small in diameter I believe.
I've used, for the last five winters, four Bridgestone Blizzak WS15's, 205-65/15's on 15" steel GXE rims and am happy with their performance on ice and snow but do feel the compromise over the all season tires in dry grip and cornering. They are holding up well and haven't worn anywhere nearly as fast as some lead me to believe they would. But I'm careful not to do burn outs and corner hard on them though.
