horse power

5.5 is listed 250 hp. Why is everyone posting that much on a dyno after mods like spacers exhuast ect?

There is difference between power at the crank and power at the wheels. Manufacturer's list the car's horsepower at the crank, which is always higher than if that same car was dyno tested (power at the wheels).

the whp is like in the 210-220 range actually, even worse if automatic. 5.5 is slowwwww

LOL, it was just a slow(ish) car from factory... And it was expensive... Like a fully loaded SE cost close to $46k USD adjusted for inflation.
Also the fuel economy rating was a joke, 25 mpg city / 37 mpg highway

the 5.5 was indeed overpriced. I've had mine since new, 180K miles later still trying to get my money's worth out of it The car got much more fun to drive after pouring in the mods. Before the mods it would often feel very slow. Nothing makes you feel more ripped off than buying a new car that goes slow. Maybe one day I will have the money to buy a fun car before I die.
