Attention: 95-06 Maxima Owners, have a starting problem?

If you own a 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06 (I'm sure more years apply, but I've only extensively worked with the aforementioned years) Nissan Maxima and it will not crank. You have a problem in one of the 4 areas:

12volts (Battery, fuses, etc)
Grounding
Starter
Signal Wire (To the starter, what's giving the starter the signal to start eg. Ignition Switch, PNP switch, etc.)
(I would say wiring, but I've never had encountered a Maxima that has had bad wiring to the above areas)

A no crank scenario will need to be sourced back from those 4 points and NOTHING ELSE.

If I had a nickel for every time I wrote the above, I could buy another fourth gen.

If I was bored enough, I would make a video of me throwing a battery and a random starter in the red car and it will crank.

(FYI, the red car only has a 6th gen engine harness with no motor, no tranny and no ecu in it at the moment).

If someone were kind enough to throw screen shots of the wiring section of the FSM's that would be awesome, you can see how simple the starter circuit is.

If your car cranks, and doesn't start, well you have other problems then

/rant.

There was a no start diagnostic guide posted in the 5th gen forum by TunerMaxima3000 back in 2012.

What do you think of it?
