Matrix of differential operator

Hi,
Is there any way in Maxima to define a matrix differential operator?
For example:
[dx 0 0; 0 dy 0; 0 0 dz]*[f1 0 0; 0 f2 0; 0 0 f3]
where dx is differential operator such that dx(f1) = d(f1)/dx.
