I think it will do you better to post some pics of the schematics and the type of lights you purchased.

basically you mount em connect everything together... connect it to the battery, ground it, and then thread it through the firewall...

if you have an SE its alot seasier cuz u alreayd have the wiring for the fogs...

If I'm not mistaken, my C&C GXE has everything ready for stock fog setup.

jiggity1226, what kind of harness do have? Its going to be kind of hard if you don't show us anything.

The fogs should have come with a paper that is a wiring diagram... that tells you everything you need to do.. then find someone who has experience and team up and just do it!! the worst part is threading them through the firewall cuz its hard.. and finding a good place to mount them

In one earlier post someone said that if a Max is not fog light pre-wired, it is just not pre-wired from the fuse box to the connector. If it is like that then nobody will have a "wiring through firewall" issue.

Well, my wires go through the hole that was made when I had my stereo put in.

mine too... So if you have the C&C package it comes prewired for stock fogs? cuz if so I might go the same route and get a set of yellow H3s for the stocks...
how do I know if I have the C&C package? (I doubt I have it... my car was bare bones)

My 96 auto GXE has S/C (Security and Convenience) package, and that's the only thing I got. No ABS, no sunroof, no ... But it is prewired, and I installed the factory fog light last week, easy.
How do you know? I think you can either look for the hanging connectors after the turning signal lamps are removed, the taped connector should be just behind the turning lamp, if prewired; or you can take off two plastic halves covering the steering wheel, and look for a two pin connector taped somewhere. This connector in my 96 Max is a black, flat piece.

Well at least I'm sure in 1996, S&C has the following:
variable intermmitent windshield wiper, H-rated tires, power driver's seat, electronic remote trunk release, chrome exaust tip, alarm, keyless entry, and I forgot the 8th item. Total are 8 items in the package. Oh the last one may be the illuminated vanity mirrors?
