Fuel Injectors

I am going to change out my Fuel Injectors in my 07 Maxima, to the Injectors from a GTR. One of my Injectors is spraying bad and instead of replacing it and getting them all blue printed , ill just pay the 250 dollars to get a newer set. I was told by a very reputable company that they fit perfectly, just need a tune. Anyone, any year VQ35, else change out their Fuel Injectors and why did you?

I'm not understanding your thought process here. Why put in GTR injectors that will require a tune? And what do you have to tune with?

Why would you do this? Injectors require a tuning unit and can't just be put in...

I understand both your questions. Here is my thought process. I am having a hard time finding a reputable place in the Chicago area that will go about cleaning and Blue Printing my Fuel Injectors. Also, I am assuming if i do it will still cost me about the same,250, as the set of GTR injectors. Once I purchase and install my coilovers, I will be getting back to performance things. NWP throttle Body Kit. Y pipe and cat back exhaust, then the Fuel Injectors and a tune. I am getting a tune regardless if I just blue print my current injectors or purchase the GTR Injectors.

I sent this question to both NWP and Racingline. Both recommended me doing it and said the GTR Injectors will work great. I shouldn't expect any horsepower gains but defiantly a better spray and better throttle response.
