putting tint on windows with acid rain stains..?

theres some pretty much unremovable acid rain on my windows, and i want to tint them (50% on the front ones, not sure on back yet). my question is, will the tint cover it up, or make it show even more?

thanks

trust me, i've tried everything you can think of. i've even asked a friend who is a professional, his final advice was to use a razor, that helped a little, but its still very noticable.

I might know what acid rain stains look like. My mom has a Chrysler minivan with the tinted windows from the factory and there are water spots on the windows that won't come off. I have tried EVERYTHING. Is this acid rain stains?

Yes that's exactly what they are. They are very common on paint too but I guess a lot easier to remove from paint then glass.

LIME AWAY

I've heard that Lime Away takes water spots off glass. Your local supermarket should have it by the cleaning supplies.

Lime Away or CLR works well, but make sure not to get it on your paint.

Go talk to a detail shop. My fiend's dad is a detailer and he puts this chemical on windows that eats waterspots right off. It's pretty cool. Can't remember the name, but it's common.
