Can anyone tell me what other 3.5 l v6 will work in the Pathfinder for example one out of a Maxima or Altima Murano will they work in a 2003 Pathfinder and if so is there any extra work to be done besides just swapping engines

 

The VQ in the R50 is unique and unfortunately no other VQ's will be a direct drop in. If your 03 has an electronic throttle your closest option will be a 350z/G35 VQ35DE engine. You'll likely need to reroute some hoses and connectors due to the different intake manifold.
