No 9th Gen Maxima

I know a lot of your are probably thinking the same thing. I heard rumors of Nissan Plus and Infiniti going away under that new name. So is Nissan gonna focus on the Maxima and finally give us a true four door sports car with AWD and the 3.0t motor? Let's face it Infiniti is dead as a brand and it's time for Nissan to focus on what made them successful in the past. Roll out the SE-R and Spec V's! What do you guys think?

The rumor mill I've been hearing is Nissan is going to make the Maxima all electric and introduce it in 2023

The Q50 has sports car engine but definitely needs an entire redesign interior and exterior wise.

If that ends up being true then I hope they pack it with plenty of power and torque.

Did you see Ford announced yesterday the F150 is going to be all electric for 2022? It has 563 HP and 775 foot lbs of torque. They did a piece about it on CBS Morning and they unofficially clocked it at 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds! Hopefully an all electric Maxima can outperform a pickup truck lol.

Honestly I've been a hardcore Nissan and Maxima fanboy in my younger years but the thing that keeps me at bay with the newer models Maxima is obviously no manual tranny. I miss the 4 door sports car vibes of the 90's/early 2000s.
