CAI question

How long is the CAI? Does it run straight to the fender from the MAF? Does it run a regular cone filter or does it require something smaller for the space inside the fender? My car's in the shop so I can't measure for myself right now ....

there is a pipe that runs from the MAF to the inside of the fender... you have to drill a 3 1/2 inch hole and there is a template that place racing gives you so you can line up the hole.. its a k&n filter, however it isnt the same size as a jwt or stillen filter, its skinnier but longer

Let me try again ....

I know about drilling the hole. My question, since I don't have my car here to measure, is how much room is there between the MAF and the fender? Also, being slightly familiar with the K&N filter, does it mount straight in or at an angle?

Re: Let me try again ....

It goes in at an angle. To give you better idea, in order to install that pipe for the CAI, you have to remove the driver's side fusebox and battery tray.
