Pics of MaxSpeed springs

Here are the pics. My car is filthy 'cause we had snow and the roads are all wet. I wanted to go ahead and post these anyway. I have stock 15 inch wheels and 215/60-15 tires. The car is a 97 GLE. Pics are with half a tank of gas.

IMO they look just like H&R's at half the cost, way to go. I'm installing a set on Wizzamax's maxima tonight for him. I will also take pics.

The distance shots look really good. How is the ride? Also how long have you had them? will they settle any more?

Ive had them two days. Drove about 100 miles already on them. I love the ride. Firmer but not harsh. HUGS corners, I can hardly keep from throwing it around curves. On the road it's still a smooth ride, no longer mushy, has more "feel" now. Very small bumps are absorbed with barely a notice. I am really surprized at how much better it handles. I am very pleased.

looks like a nice drop (not too little not too much) but it should look a little better with thinner tires

No, they haven't settled any more that I can notice. I think my tires are taller than yours, causing mine to measure higher.

Fred I'd be interested to see how much firmer it is with a new set of AGXs. I should be getting my B+Gs this week and I'll post pics when I get them put in (probably 3 weeks ). I thought you would have noticed a fair amount of harshness due to your GLE->aftermarket springs.

The only harshness I feel is from not as much suspension travel or on washboard type bumps. Normal roads are surprizingly smooth.

Didn't think anyone would notice if I blacked out the letters. OK, time to come out of the closet, I also have a '92 Civic hatch.

I've had the same springs (Maxspeed) for over 4 mos now. I can second the opinion on the ride. It's actually pretty smooth over normal roads, but it does get kinda harsh (stiffer) feeling over nastier ones. The car sits great. I have 16" Konig wheels with 50 series tires and they look normal. Not slammed, but not 4x4 either. One thing I did notice is that on mine the back sits slightly higher than the front. When I have people in the back, it seems to look almost dead even. Just my 2 cents.
