Detailing Question...
Has anyone ever used the Porter Cable Random Orbital Buffer (aka "The Ultimate Detailing Machine")? I'm thinking of buying one as it appears to be the only one I can find which uses velco-backed foam pads to buff. Most random orbital buffers use bonnets (like the ones you can buy at Sears) -- I prefer the foam pads like on a professional buffer.
My dad has a random orbital buffer made by Black and Decker Professional (now discontinued) which uses velcro-backed foam pads and it works great. Onlly problem is you can't get it anymore.
I stumbled on the Porter Cable model while surfing the net and it uses the pads, which is what I'm looking for. Just trying to find someone who may have some experience with it.
If someone knows of another random orbital buffer which uses velcro-backed pads, I'd welcome recommendations. Thanks.
