hey there looking for an advice for this common sound on maxima which comes from the back side if ny small bump or smething comes and i feel its common coz i had this issue with my maxima 2014 and 2016 is havin exactly the same sound and feels like sme suspension sound but whn i took it to the agency they said the susupension n all is gud but some sound is there they said we have to remove the complete back upholstery and check so has anyone been going through this or found a solution for this would be helpful

 

Check your hubs. My 2012 has an issue with my rear passenger hub. It causes a humming sound and a slight dragging feel. I cleaned mine and it helped a lot. That may be your issue.

 

If the sound is a thump sound when going over speed bumps then you should check the rear shocks or sway bar links/bushings, I had that happen on my 2014 and it happens to a lot of people. I also didn't have my jack secured in the trunk one time and it caused a thump/rattle noise too, so there's that. You can always go to the back of the vehicle and bounce it up/down and see if you can hear where it's coming from. Good luck, let us know what you find.
