Starting problem

Starting problem

I put in a new starter an I accidentally pinched a wire behind it it has three wires.but I spliced them an taped them back together after installing the new starter an it turns over but won't start anyone no what my problem might be I've checked the battery it's getting juice idk if I blew a fuse or what the problem is im not a mechanic but handy with cars

What year Maxima..? anything newer than 2010. Check the Fuse's in the underhood fuse box (ipdm). For the starter and Engine Control. When this happens the starter will in fact spin, but not engage. Its an odd Nissan thing.

which brand starter did you buy?
