colorado lighting laws
just got pulled over for "unauthorized vehicle insignea"
Just to let everyone out there know in colorado you cant have forward facing blue lights or rear facing white lights. I asked about other states and he said it was the same for every one he knew so just watch out. They don't tend to spend a lot of time pulling people over for it but if theyre bored...
so maybe you all already know this, but it was knew to me. Just watch out. its supposed to be a $35 dollar fine for each offense but he gave me only a total of $15 in fines. I got off easy.

by the way, the blue lights were windshield wiper nozzles on my hood.
this is what he wrote me up for:
CRS 42-4-610 - Unauthorized insignia
No owner shall display upon any part of the owner's vehicle any official designation, sign, or insignia of any public or quasi-public corporation or municipal, state, or national department or governmental subdivision...
that means they're saying that those little blue lights are representative of official vehicles (i.e. cop cars or ambulences or something)

hmmm.....I will be moving to colorado at the end of the summer to go to school at University of Colorado at Boulder. To bad my car is unmodified at the moment, and probably will stay that way for a while. I cleaned out my TB, and put a new fuel filer in it, next I am going to replace spark plugs, when I get the cash, which probably will be a while.
