Meaning of V-Spec.....Skyline History....

Hey guys, what does V-Spec stand for? I know it's associated with the Skyline. Is it just a badge name?

Also, what's a good site dedicated to the history of the Skyline?

v-spec refers to the name of the suspension in the skyline r34. the sentra spec-v has nothing to do with the skyline, and the designers of the skyline threw a fit about the new name for the sentra.

"V Spec" refers to "Victory Spec", it's a revised suspension and AWS package for the Skyline.

I've never heard anyone refer to it as a 5, not even the idiot dealers in town...

I would have to agree that you say it like the letter.

ditto on that one. the rep for Nissan of NOrth America even refered to it as "Veeeee" SPec and not "FIVE" Spec or the other way around. besides, how lame would it be to say "i drive a Nissan Skyline R34 Spec Five" as in the first four specs weren't good enough or something
