well, we haven't heard anything for so long, I doubt there is anything going on w/ them, which is unfortunate, o well, I guess it's time to think of the next car to buy then, only this time have to make sure that the car has a huge selection of aftermarket parts

Funny you should ask this now. I just sent Dan and e-mail and
brought it up in correspondence on another topic with Dallas. I do
not have an answer yet but hopefully we'll get a definitive answer
soon.

If I could find a shop around here that did any of this kind of work,
I'd be all about sponsoring development. Sorta like Brian Catts did
with the Quaife (obviously not as expensive though). I've contacted
3 shops that make radial arms for Honduhs and other cars but they've
all declined to do it for the Maxima.

These arms have a reputation of significantly reducing wheel hop, aiding in quick acceleration by increasing traction. With these you should see decreased 1/4 mile times by decreasing wheel spin.We think we can offer them for a reasonable price. I know we will be looking for a few people to try the first few sets. If you are active at the track, you might want to send an e-mail. I know we will want to test each generation. Will keep every one updated.

Nah, as huge selection of aftermarket parts is not aalways all it is craked up to be. Like with Honda's a lot of the parts go for mush higher prices because the demand is so high for it. But us it leaves room for creativity and what not.

The cars I have had before did not always have much or anything aftermarket for them but still they were rigged up faster than stock because I found ways around it. It is just this one part though I might be very intrested in if it ever comes out.

Hmmmm...radial arms you say. Any chance you'll have these sometime while gasoline powered vehicles are still a viable choice of transportation?

They have at least started to mention them on the website now. I think once they are on there that means they are really happening.

A little bird told me that they'll be available as a permanent mount
and also as a quick-disconnect/removable configuration. Same little
bird told me that it's a matter of some powdercoating, an
installation (to be completed this week), pictures and final pricing.
Of course, who knows what the actual schedule will end up being but
this is VERY recent information.

Cheers,

JK

It may allow you to launch harder without all the hop. So you might get better launches as a result.

Yup...over two years of development. They better reduce wheel hop, increase handling, up my HP by 200 WHP, increase torque by 100 ft/lbs, and make me a ham and cheese sandwich when they finish this R&D.
