Yeah, the RS-A's did 59k, with the rear-left leaking and me having to constantly find the free air in Philly. Between duct taped hoses and worn out compressors.......dang!

Solution? 235/40WR18!!!!

Yep, me and the lady were up late watching Eyes Wide Shut, so I told her I need something to spice things up with something that's been goin' on for 3 1/2 years. She thought I meant her. Uh uh, I mean that minima!!

I don't know, it's boring. The car has been paid for for almost 2 years, it rattles, and it's dinged. Maybe the 18"'s will rekindle my excitement.

18's look really nice. I don't know what else you have, but keep in mind, they look really nice, but slow acceleration. I think they do better laterally though, due to stiffer sidewall. You'll feel more bumps. Wheels/tires get more expensive. I think that's about it. I'm gonna keep my 17's for a while, but i may get a set of 19's and a set of 15's way down the road. How would some 19 Xenex Muse wheels look?

They're knockoffs of the AVS Model 5's and they're made by Axis. I thought about these too since they're cheap . . . but I don't think I want to go 19's.

There are times when I like to cruise at 165-170 ahahaha

Actually they just happen to be WR. They are the Sumitomo HTR+. I think they'll be ok since they are 360 AA A, all season.

I'm kinda getting cold feet now because I don't want a lousy ride but oh well. I think it's true that the 235/45-17 are the optimum due to unsprung weight. The new Z might be diff w/18's since it's designed for them.

The way I see it is the tire/wheel package was around $1100 and I woulda spent about $520 or so just for the 215/55-HR16. So what the heck, for double the money it's an all-new look.
