Took the words right out of my mouth. X-Drilled perform better anyways and they look cool

despite what most people think, slotted and crossed drilled only keep the pads from glazing, they also eat pads. the way they grab the pads makes them feel like they are better but they arent. the only true way to improve braking is bigger brakes which is exactly what your contemplating. look into the fastbrakes (wilwood) kit , they are fantastic a friend of mine has them on his max. they are worth the money. good luck

Doesn't Stillen make a big brake kit? (It's probably really expensive though)

One of these days... at a local 'install' meet... we gotta take some time and swap 4th and 2002 calipers and rotors to see if they fit.

Aftermarket kits are too expensive

I didnt really want to spend that much...thats why i was hoping the factory setup of the 2002 max is compatible with 4th gen.... Aftermart brake is too expensive...

in the old days, if you had a Z u upgraded to toyota 4x4 calipers or porsche 996 brakes. nissan hasnt changed much, i wonder if those swaps are still possible
also look into brembo rotors u can get them as blanks (no holes or anything) and get them cyro treated
