Yeah,
That is so deep, pardon the pun, a bypass valve would be useless in 15 feet of water.
They finally sent a second replacement motor to replace the first replacement motor. I have 3 VQs in the shop bay next to my maxima. Two of them are basically useless. I hope 3rd times the charm.
To answer maxse01's question, my motor ingested water when I entered the puddle... I mean lake, and as we all know water, as well as all other fluids,is incompressable. As the pistons cycled into their upstroke they tried to compress the incompressable, and something had to give. My guess... the rods.
So no one has any suggestions about mods at all?
