Spoiler Mounting Q?

I bought a used spoiler and the mounts to screw the spoiler in are damaged. I was wondering if there was another way to mount a spoiler like with an adhesive.

Thanks

Probably no other way to mount it without it eventually falling off. If you use an adhesive it would have to be very strong. If the spoiler is fiberglass just get it fixed. That's the safest way.

Is it a factory spoiler? I had to buy a bunch of clips from the dealer to attach the factory spoiler I bought from a member. exactly what part is damaged? Any pics?

Basically, no. Get new bolts and screw it in, otherwise sooner or later it will fly off and you will end up having to get a new one. If threads stripped, re tap and get new bolts. I don't know of any adhesive that will hold a spoiler.

you gotta bolt that spoiler down to the sheet metal.. if u try using like Goop or like 3m double sided tape.. your wing will become your parachute and drag behind the car...

The outside mounts are intact. Can I mount it just with those?

I'm a little confused with your answer; are you trying to say that the two far outside ones are ok and there is something wrong with the ones in the middle? If so, what is wrong with them?

The pillars are still there, but the bottom is broken, as in that the mounting brackets and the fiberglass on the bottom have been broken off.
