Which model Dremel are you fellas using on your Maxima projects???

I just picked up a 3966-01 from Home Depot. The kit comes with just about everything and it runs from 5000 to 35,000 RPM. Its not cordless so I hope my power converter will do the trick when I start my Maxima projects.

I saw that one but I wanted to make sure I had mor than enough power to get busy.

99MAXSE: It was $99. You can probably get it for less if you shop around.

Craig: No duals for me. I have another project in mind for inside the car.

Cisco: I believe I saw your model there too.

get a die grinder works great for porting and polishing, or a rotozip.

I bought the cordless, it has a lot of power for all the stuff I do, and the power cable can be a hassle once and a while. The dremel came in handy when polishing my valve cover and intake manifold good luck with yours deezo

I bought the exact same one Sunday. I went with this one over cordless because the cordless only goes up to 20,000 rpms and I thought I might need the extra 15,000 rpms for something. I like the tool box it comes in but was a little upset that it came with like 100 circle things...I thought it would have 132 different accessories...but for what we paid, $99, its great.

I really don't like to settle for less when it comes to tool of this nature. I have a cordless drill and when you need the power the most, the battery dies. No more of theat stuff for me dude.
