How do I check the resistance of the rear injectors???

WITHOUT removing the intake manifold. There is a grey harness that seems to run to the injectors from the left side of the manifold, but it has 4 sets of prongs...not three.

I think injector either works or it doesn't. It's like a relay. It will make a clicking sound if it works. I read that somewhere in the FSM. I'll write another post when I get home after I take a look at the FSM. There are some troubleshooting procedure for the injectors that I don't remember off the top of my head.

I'm rather impressed with myself....found this within a minute of searching.

I'm the search master.

Forum search results for "injector resistance":

http://forums.maxima.org/search.php?...der=descending

Then I simply looked for posts in the 4th gen forum where Daniel B. Martin answered questions (Heavens, he is missed), which revealed the following thread:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....tor+resistance

Good luck!

ok guys....I'm sorry...I'm an idiot...I had forgotten about that thread long ago...becuase I was worried more about my idle level than the injectors....when I SEARCHED earlier today under "fuel injector" that thread didn't come up...so I'm sorry....I did search first...just didn't search the right keywords.

Are you sure you don't want to blame me, post a nice flame in here, and then go to the Feedback forum and b!tch about how you are oppressed on the dot orgy?

I can understand why you didn't consider that because of your idle concerns, which is why I answered the question. It was ironic that the answer to your question was in a thread you started.
