Removing decals from rear windshield?

Hey guys, how's everyone doing?...Ok, well, on my rear windshield, I have two decals that my sister put on from her college when she used to drive the Max...now, i tried to peel them off, but the majority of the sticker still sticks to the windshield and leaves the glue and residue on the windshield, so it looks really bad...anyone know of a way to get these decals completely off the rear windshield?...thanks

Use a razor blade flat against the glass. And then push the razor against the decals. They should come off.

any easier method?...like goo gone or something?...because i'm afraid of screwing something up...also, when you use a razor blade, won't that cut the rear defogger lines?

thanks for the suggestion though, i might try it if i don't get anything else...but i'd prefer some type of cleaner or something of that sort (goo gone, etc.) that people know works...thanks again though clee

clee's idea is a good one. Works very well. If I can remember, I don't think the defogger coils are on the outside.

Defogger coils are on the inside. Just take it slow and it'll be fine. And it won't scratch the glass if you hold the blade almost flat against the glass.

the super easy way is to heat them up with a hairdryer and then take a razor or knife and get them off the heat softens the decal and it comes off real easy I know I take mine off all the time with this method I just took of 6 decals yesterday...easy off easy on...
