Ahhh, its good to a a Maxima owner again

Okay, after endless searching for a more practical, yet very powerful car, to replace my beloved Prelude and with many deals falling through for one reason or another.....I found myself and bought a 2K2 Maxima SE 6spd this morning. Black on black cloth (no leather 6spds at the dealer ) w/ the only options being the pwr. sunroof and wind defelctor, painted splash guards, and floor mats. I'm still obviously breaking it in, but I've nudged a couple of times and know I made the right decision. Ahhhh.....its good to be back.

haha!

Ed you crack me up, you talked about all these other cars, and then you went back with your original choice. Glad to have you in the family. Glad to see you didn't get a 4th gen prelude, acura cl or tl, honda accord, bmw 540, m5....... and the list goes on. so when are we going to the track? Let me know.

Lets see.. Talk about wishywashy Glad to see you made the RIGHT decision though

Looks like I need a few more mods, and Warren needs to fix his problem, or we are in serious trouble at the track.

Congrats Ed. That would have been my first choice!

I hope I find the gremlin before I get too upset and sell mine. Today is a big day in that regard.

I am sure you will love yours!!!!!!!!!!

That's the way to go, no options. It's so funny to see 5-spds with every option selling for 12 grand when their lists were 29 back in 1997! Less options = less Nissan pricing games. Those cars are gonna be real cheap come August--give us that 5000+ off list baby!!

Your better going aftermarket leather if you want it though. Better leather and more options including haveing lettering done right into the leather. I think cheaper too.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm selling the Prelude to its severe lack of room. I take alot of long distance trips and quite frankly the Prelude wasn't cut out for that. Still a great car and much faster than most of the Max's I've ran , ofcourse there was that one beige pesky 97 5spd I couldn't get past .

As far as track dates.....I thought about this weekend, but it will still be in the break in process so I'm thinking more along the lines of the weekend after next. Fully broken in...ahhhh.....

Ummm... But wasn't that "one beige pesky 97 5spd" the only modded (y-pipe, intake, exhaust, clutch) 5spd that you raced???

Can't wait to see in person, or see vids of your next track outing.

We could post the results of our last race against each other if you like

I think I still have a video of Warren smoken me in your car lol. It was quick, but with a y-pipe, it would have been very interesting Besides that, I am just learning to launch the POS at the track now LOL.

Oh look, I found the video of me getting OWNED!!!

Congrats on the 2k2 6spd purchase! You made the right decision!

I knew you wouldn't be happy with one of those other cars you were considering
