i bought a set of 2000 GLE lights and had them painted body color and went with circles for the brakes, turns instead of ovals, i love the look

i love how they look. cost 75 for the tails and 75 to paint them, they did a great job too.

I have a 2000SE and I really like the way the new tails look on the 2k2. I would be willing to take those off your hands if they are in your way!!!

 

Looks really good. But you need to lose the dealer plate frame.

How come there is still a bit of orange? Do you have orange bulbs in there? Sorry if you said you do, I didnt read.

Noticed the blueist tint to your reverse lights waht type and what size are the bulbs and were did you get them?

Jinkees, looks super, Steve! If I could afford a 2k2, I would do something like that. I hate the ghey chrome look, especially when...oh wait...the only other "chrome" on the car consists of badges. WTH was nissan smoking....

emax did it but it was VERY HARD. he cracked one tailight and it took a long time. but when it was done it looks hot. maybe just take them apart and paint the amber red?? and i'm getting a red bulb i think for the bottom circle and leaving it clear, too late to make it red now.

Thanks for the links but you guys either misunderstood me or I did not express my question correctly , I see how you have the bigger circle all red but my question is: is there a way to make that orange reflector in the bigger circle clear so that it would be red and clear instead of red and orange?

 

YES do what he did but just don't paint the lense red like he did.

My red lenses are actualy the original orange/red lenses. The paint completly covered the orange.
