If I'm not mistaken you can get the Polarg Visual G series... It's like silver/chrome on the outside during the day, and it's nice deep amber at night. Their about $20 a bulb...

I used regular silver spray paint and put very light coats of paint on my existing amber bulbs and it worked perfect. i was afraid the bulb would get too hot and 'melt' the pain, but no probs yet.

A few people are doing that now with no complaints. Did you use just regular paint or a higher temp setup?

i just used regular paint right now, (already had it). its been like this for a bout a month, and no probs yet. I will remove them prolly this weekend to see how they are doing. if i have to do them again, i will prolly use high temp next time, but as of yet, no problems whatsoever
