Chrome Door Handles

How much are they from the Infiniti dealer? This is for a 4th generation Maxima. Do they usually carry this? Also.. has anyone here done it. Was it hard?
Thanks

Time to exercise the mouse.

Click on the Maxima.org banner on the top.

Then go down to "Shop Talk".

Click on "Modifications".

Then allllll the way at the bottom, click on "Interior chrome door handles".

For 2 handles and 2 escutcheons shipped to CA it was $52.99 (damn!). Infiniti of Scottsdale had them in stock. As far as I know they usually carry these items. I've done this modification. It's not hard. You don't need the trim remover that Bill Miles talks about (although I'm sure it helps). Just carefully pop the clips out with your fingers as you work your way around the door panel. Then gently twist the door panel in a motion parallel to, and slightly away from, the metal door to pop the escutcheon off. Just as you feel like you are going to break something, the damn thing will fly off. Good luck.
