Who said spec v is a dissapointment?

well once again we can see that u need to break in the engine to get full engine potential on nissan cars, scc dynoed a new spec v at only 140 hp
a guy from b15sentra.net dynoed his stock spec V with 7.2K miles
here are the results
150HP 161TQ

Thats like a 16-17% driveline loss which I find acceptable givin that it has HLSD and six gears

Those are great numbers!

If you go by 16% loss, that comes out as 174 HP BUT TQ comes out as 187 Nice!

Right, and the QR 4 cylinder engines in the Spec V and Altima are based on VQ type architecture.

Yay, torque!

I don't know how anyone who drove that car could be disappointed. I had a huge ear to ear grin during every minute behind the wheel.

Hey, has anyone at b15sentra.net dynoed an SE-R with the 5sp? I'd like to see what the differences in drivetrain losses are, if any. I remember someone said earlier that the 6sp eats up more power, so the SE-Rs could really be putting down more power than the Spec-Vs.
