No parking for a reason! That scaffolding incident on the Hancock tower made the national news. Sounds like an oops since winds were only 60mph?

OMG!!!! That is just terrible. I hope it wasn't an org member. Either way, 3 people died!? My heart goes out to the victims and their families. Those two cars are crushed pretty bad. It's hard to believe anyone lived. What a tragedy.

This was pretty terrible in Chicago. Afternoon news wasn't live but it was pretty raw; they didn't do much editing beforehand.
Saw the victims of the other cars pulled out (alive) but they never showed closeups of the Maxima. Probably not good.
That Max had a vanity plate but I can't make out the letters.

P.S. The winds are still near 40mph and debris continues to fall downtown. Temp was 61 this time last night. Now it's 22

Nobody was on the scafolding. That's the window washing equip they keep attached to the buildings. One broke loose and swung around to the other side of the building where it hit another.

It just happens to be in the very busy shopping district. Right between Water Tower Place and Bloomingdales. Tons of people around.
