that's VERY heavy, my Zigen's weight 21 lbs a piece and my tires are 27 lbs a piece, 4lbs a side is a decent loss for going up a size.

...Yes I know 27lbs. is pretty heavy for an 18x8 but is 52lbs. an accurate number for wheel and tire on the stock 02 SE? Thats what I have right now, and I am trying to figure out how much my tires would have to weigh if I had 27lbs. rims and wanted to either maintain or lose some unsprung weight...

Yup. Mille Miglia Evo5 18x8 27lbs. apiece. Actually, the same as those moda r6 18x8 wheels you were looking at getting, they are 27lbs. each also... But damn those Mille Miglia evos look nice. Is there any way I would be able to find 245/40r18 tires light enough to stay under the 52lbs. 'cap' so I don't increase my unsprung weight?
