Is this any good, if i can get if for 50 bucks? What else wouldI want in a security system. And how hard is the install for it? Id probably have to have someone do it, but would it be like an hour long job, or what?

Thanks

alarm systems are like stereos...you get what you pay for...ive never seen or heard of this particular one before...me and a buddy did mine and there is alot involved...if you're not good with wiring then get it professionally installed...if you have a factory system already (maybe even w/o) the install will take 3+ hours to be done properly and tested...

I'd rather not have an alarm then have one. When people hear the alarm blaring off people ignore it. If i were you, i would have it a alarm store install it. If they say it will take about an nour or two, then just leave. Have you ever seen some of these alarms installed? They are not clean and a 10 year old can hack them. I use to work at a car audio store that did alarms too, me and the other installer spent more then 6 hours putting in my alarm. If a theif wants your car bad enough, he'll get it. Alarms also lower your insurance down. It lowered mine 10%.

yeah, well two days ago i was playing pool at some apartment's clubhouse and all of a sudden my friend goes "What the f***!!?" we look out the window and there's a guy trying to get into my car. he's trying all of his keys in the lock to see if any of them would work and he's got a wire clothes hanger in one hand. we ran out there with beat sticks in hand(pool cues) and the guy saw us and took off running, jumped in his beat up truck and left. we got his license plate and called the cops on his ***. turns out he lived in the apartment right next to the clubhouse. anyway, that's why i say $50 alarm is better than no alarm. if my friend hadn't looked out the window, there's no telling what might have happened. so i bought an alarm yesterday. =)
