BS! Since when could cars go 181mph with o/d off? I'm assuming it's an auto, unless O/D and PRND2L on poopra's signify something else. With O/D...that means you are stuck in 3 or 4 gear (depending on 4 speed or 5 speed automatic). No way 3rd or 4th gear on an auto is meant to reach 180+ (unless you have a custom gearbox or whatever). Anyway, I call BS, unless there was a manual tranny swap or whatever...

Busted! I'm guessing the speedo is broken, he's in the garage and stuck in neutral.

Thats what I thought too but if you look at it there is no lights lit up for which gear it is in PRNDL@ type stuff. So maybe with a tranny swap that would mean that OD would not be attached and therefor might read it as off. Just a guess.

I could care less if you guys believe me or not. I know we did - I was just sharing the pic that shows our own stupidity. The car was in an accident before my dad bought it and the transmission had to be recalibrated or something. The trans would just shift through the gears to 4th at wot. He took it to a supra shop in atl and they solved the problem, but the glovebox is full of ecu and transmission controllers. The "o/d off" and the "trac off" lights are constantly on even if they are both activated. Everything is now controlled by the glovebox-mounted controllers.
