Attn: 2001 Maxus goers, remember that Honda?

Well, if you were at Maxus in DC of 2001, you should remember. It was at the end of the event and there was this Honda that had to have a guy tell him which way to turn his wheel to get down the hill. I think it took like about 40 minutes for him to finally get out(I beleive a few Orgy'ers had a few choice words with them). I want to lower my car when I have money, but not be as pathetic as that. I have seen people with 2.0 drop. Now in the future I plan to have bodykits, will this affect how I drive over bumps? What is a good scenario? 1.7 with kit, 1.5 with kit, etc. If you can help me out, that would be kewl.

I am still driving my Maxima, 1995 GLE with 155k, and only $2500 to pay off before I own her.

1.7" is a good drop with a kit. You won't have to worry about clearing speed bumps or anything until you go lower than 2.5". The Max won't go as low as a Honda anyway. You can believe me, I have a 2.5" drop and as you can tell in my sig pic, I can still drive over curbs.

i'd go with h/r's if you plan on having a kit.

i'd recommend the b&g's over the h&r's. the ride is just as smooth but it drops it an added .2 inches (1.6 total). i have a front lip and it takes a pretty steep driveway for me to scrape, and i can hit speed bumps head on no problem. that's the way i'd go.

Nevermind, I just ordered Progress Springs from pmpdesigns.com. Their price was better than Option Auto Salon for the same springs.
Yeah yeah yeah, I know I don't have a job, but I calculated that I can get this in. I am working stupid side jobs for some cash so that helps a lil.
