A new twist on putting a 97+ grill on a 95-96

I've always liked the 97+ grills, so after seeing Emax's pics of his 96 with a 97+ GXE/GLE grill, I kinda wanted to do it too. I mounted the grill (simple, little modification) and liked the looks, but I felt I could make it a little better and a bit more classy. I taped off the center portion of the grill and painted the grill posts. I think it looks much better now. What do you think?

BTW thanks of the idea, Ethan.

Re: A new twist on putting a 97+ grill on a 95-96

I've always liked the '96 grille better than the one on my '97. The only '97 style I do like is the chrome one, though I won't say I'm a chrome fanatic. My SE had the bar that matches the color (boring beige) so I painted it black, just to make it more invisible. The really funny thing is, when I posted I'd done that (on the original Maxima.org board) someone wrote back upset because they had the chrome one and wanted a beige to match their paint! If I'd only known ....
