Hey all. Its been a while since I posted. Now that spring break is just around the corner, it gives me some time to breathe. My car is still out of commission, hopefully not for long though. Now I finally have time to work on the tranny swap that I've been waiting for quite a while now. This was a decision I made after my car broke down after a routine spirited drive.

The parts from my auto tranny will probably go for sale sometime soon. A few people asked me how I blew the tranny even after installing Don's VB mod, but that was the initial thought. After pulling out the parts, we saw that it was not the tranny that was damaged but the torque convertor. How this happened I have no clue. The hose connected to the TC ruptured somehow and that might have caused all this. But in anycase that tranny is out. I took some pictures of this, you can check them out on my homepage. (I know they look filthy in the pictures, but they are nice and clean now)

Couple of people asked me about my custom grill. Here are a few pictures.

It was made using Tungsten Aluminium mesh grill. Quite a simple process, I removed the grill off the car, cut the mesh a little bigger than the grill, drilled in a couple of holes and slid in the zipties that hold it together. As for the emblem, thats the cefiro emblem (thanks Sycefiro). That grill sure has gone through all the elements that the Buffalo weather has to offer!

Among other car related things, well my new homepage is finally up. Please feel free to comment on it. More work will go into it now that I have some extra time on my hands. I really appreciate the fellows who helped me out with my questions these past couple of months and the informative posts that we have on this site. I feel quite a bit more enlightened

And on a final note.. I finally have a new license plate.. anyone wants to venture a guess?
